Mahantesh Karoshi Medical DirectorMr Mahantesh Karoshi is the Medical Director at Her Health Partnerships, and a highly respected Consultant Gynaecologist with over 15 years of NHS experience. His clinical leadership is recognised nationally and internationally, combining innovation, patient-centred care, and operational excellence.
Trained at leading London hospitals including St George’s, Kingston, and Epsom, Mr Karoshi holds an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MRCOG, FRCOG, and a Diploma in Clinical Risk Management. His expertise spans general gynaecology, ambulatory hysteroscopy, fibroid management, reproductive medicine, and complex pelvic pain management.
A pioneer in conservative fibroid treatment, Mr Karoshi introduced the Sonata radiofrequency ablation technique into routine practice, offering women effective alternatives to surgery. He has also led the development of advanced ambulatory services, enhancing access to outpatient hysteroscopy and polypectomy within NHS pathways.
As Medical Director, he sets the clinical strategy for Her Health Partnerships, ensuring robust governance, patient safety, digital health innovation, and service quality across all programmes.
Beyond clinical delivery, Mr Karoshi has made significant academic contributions, authoring five textbooks (one launched by HRH Princess Anne) and publishing research in prestigious journals such as The Lancet, BJOG, and Fertility and Sterility. He is a global speaker on postpartum haemorrhage and women's health innovations, with engagements across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
A strong advocate for Safe Motherhood initiatives, he has trained hundreds of clinicians in resource-limited settings and contributes to digital health startups focusing on personalised women’s healthcare.
Committed to education and mentorship, Mr Karoshi has served as a college tutor and undergraduate examiner at University College London, promoting safe practice, interprofessional collaboration, and patient-centred education.
Above all, Mr Karoshi’s service ethos is rooted in partnership with patients, advocating for shared decision-making, compassionate care, and healthcare that adapts to the lives of the women it serves.

Mary Kennedy MatronMary is a Senior Matron with over 20 years of experience working across a range of NHS Trusts and elective care settings. With specialist knowledge in theatre, gynaecology, day surgery, and outpatient recovery, she brings operational authority and compassionate leadership to our nursing and clinical support teams.
Highly respected among peers and partners, Mary ensures that our services are delivered with professionalism, consistency, and dignity. She leads on frontline service quality, nursing standards, incident review, and mobilisation support, helping teams maintain excellence under pressure.

Pratik Shah Chief Medical OfficerMr Shah is a widely respected Consultant Gynaecologist with over 20 years’ experience in both NHS and private practice. He is known for his leadership in Colposcopy services and outpatient gynaecology, and brings a strong academic and educational background to his governance role.
As Chief Medical Officer, Mr Shah leads our governance framework — overseeing clinical effectiveness, safety reporting, service audit, and clinical learning. He supports our consultant workforce to deliver safe, NICE-aligned care, and plays a key role in setting and reviewing service standards.
His clinical focus includes fibroids, menstrual health, pelvic pain, and cervical screening.
